About the Fresh Food Program
The Fresh Food Program is a remarkable community-based program that demonstrates the high level of dedication and public service possible at the community level. The program is run entirely by hard-working volunteers who dedicate countless hours each week to ensure that food is available for those who would otherwise have no access to fresh food.
The program depends on the generosity of farmers and food vendors who donate fruits and vegetables or sell food to us at discounted rates.
We also depend on compassionate and caring members of the surrounding community to help contribute financially to the purchase of food and significantly contribute to the health and well-being of those who are struggling to cope with the harsh realities of poverty.
Please consider how you might be a part of this community effort!

Where does the food go?
- a large portion of the food is picked up by volunteers who deliver it to their neighbors and friends
- individuals and families can also pick up food personally
- most of the volunteers are users of the program themselves.
- the remaining food is distributed to local shelters and meal programs
